Planofix is a plant growth regulator formulated as an aqueous solution containing Alpha Naphthyl Acetic Acid 4.5 SL (4.5% w/w). It helps improve fruit set, prevent flower and fruit drop, and increase both the yield and quality of produce.

- Technical Name: Alpha Naphthyl Acetic Acid 4.5 SL (4.5% w/w)
- Mode of Action: Suppresses ethylene production, preventing the formation of the abscission layer. This minimizes the shedding of buds, flowers, and fruits.

Recommended Crops & Usage
- Dosage:
- 10 ppm: 44.4 ml in 200 L of water
- 100 ppm: 88.8 ml in 400 L of water
Crop-specific Guidelines
- Pineapple:
- Apply just before expected flowering
- Spray entire fruit uniformly, avoiding drift to young crops
- Repeat 2 weeks before harvest to increase size & delay maturity
- Tomato: Spray twice at flowering stage
- Chilli:
- 1st spray during flowering
- 2nd spray 20–30 days later
- Mango:
- Spray when fruits are pea-sized
- For malformation, apply ~3 months before flowering
- Grapes:
- 1st spray at pruning
- 2nd spray at flowering
- To reduce berry drop, apply 10–15 days before harvest on mature branches

- Spray during cooler parts of the day
- Helps prevent natural shedding in cotton, vegetables, chillies, mangoes, and grapes
- Compatible with most pesticides; best results when used individually
