Almax Bio Insecticide
Product Description
Almax Bio Insecticide is a biological insecticide based on a selected strain of naturally occurring entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana. It contains spores and mycelial fragments of Beauveria bassiana. When the spores come in contact with the cuticle of the target pest insect, they germinate and penetrate the host, taking nutrients and proliferating inside. The fungus produces a toxin called Beauvericin that weakens the insect's immune system, ultimately killing the pest. After the insect dies, the fungus produces an antibiotic that outcompetes intestinal bacteria.
