Mode of Action
Rhizobium spp. infects the roots of legume plants and forms root nodules, where it converts atmospheric nitrogen into ammonia.
This ammonia is then converted into nitrogen-rich compounds that the plant can readily absorb.
The bacteria multiply within the nodules, continuously fixing nitrogen and improving soil fertility.
