Description

Dr. Bacto's Azo contains selective strains of nitrogen-fixing beneficial bacteria (Azotobacter spp.) in a liquid formulation with 2 x 10⁸ bacterial cells/ml.

Mode of Action

Azotobacter spp. are free-living aerobic bacteria that fix atmospheric nitrogen through biological nitrogen fixation, making it available to plants in a usable form. These bacteria also release ammonia into the soil, improving fertility, and produce antifungal substances that reduce harmful fungal growth and disease incidence.
