About the Product

Dr. Bacto’s Dermus is an effective bio-fungicide made from the mycoparasitic fungi Trichoderma viride. It effectively controls soil-borne pathogenic fungi such as Fusarium, Pythium, and Rhizoctonia. The formulation is based on dextrose technology.

Technical Name: Trichoderma viride (2 × 10⁶ C.F.U./gm)

Mode of Action

Dr. Bacto’s Dermus fungal mycelium tightly coils around the pathogenic fungus, producing antibiotics like viridins and gliotoxin, which inhibit fungal growth. It overgrows the pathogen, limiting its development and helping control disease.

• Dosage: 2.5 - 5 ml per liter of water
• Spray: 2 L per acre

Also effective as a nematicide to control soil-borne nematodes.
