BACTVIPE (PSEUDOMONAS FLUORESCENS) BIO FUNGICIDE
Effective Control of Seed, Soil & Air Borne Diseases
Technical Information
Technical Name: | Pseudomonas Fluorescens |
CFU: | 2 × 108 per ml |
Mode of Action
Pseudomonas Fluorescens is highly effective in suppressing soil and foliar-borne diseases caused by pathogens. It colonizes the rhizosphere and plant system, acting as a systemic biocontrol agent.
It promotes plant growth by aiding nutrient uptake and producing growth-promoting substances. The bacterium releases iron-chelating siderophores, antibiotics, hydrogen cyanide, and lytic enzymes (such as cellulase, chitinase, and protease), which actively reduce fungal and bacterial pathogens and induce plant resistance.

Method of Application & Dosage
- Seed Treatment: Mix 5–10 ml of Bactvipe in 50 ml water and treat 1 kg of seeds or tubers. Shade dry for 20–30 minutes before sowing.
- Seedling Treatment: Mix 250 ml of Bactvipe in 50 liters of water. Dip roots for 30 minutes before transplanting.
- Nursery Bed Preparation: Mix 250 ml in 10 kg compost/FYM and broadcast in 400 sq. meters. Incorporate into soil up to 15–20 cm depth.
- Drip Irrigation: Use 750–1000 ml in 150–200 liters of water per acre.
- Horticulture/Vegetables: Drench 250 ml in 100 liters of water near the root zone (15–20 cm deep) to control collar rot. Use high volume sprayer (without or large nozzle).
- Per Plant Application: Mix 10–25 ml Bactvipe with compost or soil and apply near root zone of fruit crops.
