Beam® Fungicide – Tricyclazole 75% WP

Beam® is a highly effective systemic fungicide recommended for the control of blast disease in rice, including leaf blast, stem blast, and panicle blast. It offers both preventive and curative action across various growth stages of the rice crop.

• Fungicide Group: Melanin biosynthesis inhibitor

Mode of Action

Beam® inhibits the polyhydroxynaphthalene reductase enzyme, which is responsible for melanin formation in the fungus Pyricularia grisea. Without melanin, the fungus fails to penetrate plant tissues, preventing infection and disease establishment.
