Bio Metaz Bio Insecticide
About Bio Metaz Biopesticide
Technical Content: Metarhizium anisopliae
Bio Metaz is a biopesticide based on the green muscardine fungus Metarhizium anisopliae. It is widely used to control various insect pests including root weevils, plant hoppers, Japanese beetles, black vine weevils, spittlebugs, termites, and white grubs.
Mode of Action
When Bio Metaz spores come into contact with the insect's body, they germinate and penetrate the cuticle. The fungus grows inside the insect, killing it within days. Afterward, a white mold emerges from the cadaver and produces new spores, continuing the pest control cycle.
