Craze Herbicide – Dhanuka Agritech
Craze is a broad-spectrum, pre-emergence herbicide from Dhanuka Agritech Limited, formulated to control a wide variety of weeds in paddy fields. It belongs to the chloroacetamide group and is highly effective when applied right after transplanting.
Technical Details
- Technical Name: Pretilachlor 50% EC
- Mode of Action: Selective, pre-emergent herbicide
- Uptake: Absorbed mainly through the hypocotyls, mesocotyls, and coleoptiles of germinating weeds; partly through roots
Application Guidelines
- Maintain 2–3 cm of standing water in the paddy field during application
- Apply immediately after transplanting or within 4 days of transplanting
- Alternate method: Mix 500 ml Craze with 20–25 kg dry sand and broadcast uniformly
