INDUS CAPSICUM 1504 HYBRID YELLOW SEEDS (SHIMLA MIRCH)
Capsicum Seeds
Suitable Climate
Capsicum is primarily a cool-season crop, thriving when day temperatures are below 30°C. However, modern hybrids with wider adaptability allow cultivation in warmer regions like Goa. Extremely high temperatures can accelerate plant growth and reduce fruit set, while lower night temperatures favor flowering and fruit development.
Planting in September–October in Goa coincides with a milder climate during flowering and fruiting (November–February). Summer shading is recommended in greenhouses to prevent temperature build-up.
