Transplantation & Growing Guidelines
- Prepare soil with organic manure or compost and ensure it is free from weeds and pests.
- Open the seed packet on a white sheet to avoid losing small seeds.
- Sprinkle seeds evenly over soil, cover lightly, and water gently using a sprinkler or hand.
- Germination takes 10 – 18 days depending on variety.
- For small-seeded herbs or flowers, cover sowing area with transparent polythene in the evening to accelerate germination.
- Transplant seedlings once they reach 3 – 4 inches in height.
- All varieties require minimal water and 2 – 3 hours of sunlight daily; winter varieties require 1 – 2 hours.
