It is a combination of two insecticides, chlorpyrifos and cypermethrin, which work together to provide quick knockdown and long-lasting residual control. IPL-505 Technical Details Technical Content: Chlorpyriphos 50% + Cypermethrin 5% EC Mode of Action: It has dual mode of action. Chlorpyrifos works by disrupting the nervous system of insects by inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase causing paralysis and death. Cypermethrin works by disrupting the normal functioning of sodium channels in the nervous system of insects. These channels are responsible for transmitting nerve impulses. Disruption causes an accumulation of sodium ions within nerve cells, leading to hyperexcitation, paralysis, and death of the insect.
