About KAN BIOSYS MILASTIN K (BIO FUNGICIDE) Milastin-K is a bio-fungicide and plant probiotic developed by Kan Biosys. It contains dormant forms of multiple plant probiotic bacteria, primarily Bacillus subtilis KTSB 1015 This product is used to manage various plant diseases, including bacterial blight and anthracnose in crops like pomegranates. Milastin-K Bio Fungicide Composition and Technical Details Technical Content: Liquid formulation of dormant forms of multiple plant pro-biotic bacteria Bacillus subtilis KTSB 1015. Mode of Entry: Contact Mode of Action: Milastin K is a bio-fungicide that works through antagonism, competition, and induced resistance to control plant pathogens. The beneficial bacteria in Milastin K produce antibiotics and other metabolites that inhibit pathogen growth, compete for nutrients and space, and stimulate the plant’s defense mechanisms. Key Features & Benefits Milastin-K Bio Fungicide ensures efficient colonization of shoot and foliar surfaces with beneficial bacteria. It is organic certified, non-toxic, and residue-free, making it suitable for both conventional and organic farming. It is compatible with chemical fungicides. It has a zero pre-harvest interval (PHI). This bio-fungicide is effective in the bio-management of fungal diseases in crops. Milastin-K Usage & Crops Recommended Crop: All Crops Target Disease: Powdery mildew. Dosage: 2.5 ml/ L of water. Method of Application: Foliar Spray and Soil spray. Time of Application: The product can be applied at 15 days interval. Milastin can be applied at all stages viz- vegetative phase or flowering and fruiting [pre-harvest interval is not necessary]. Spray in the evening or late afternoon to create conditions favorable for germination of spores in Milastin. Application Season: Kharif and Rabi.
