Mode of Action:
Ampelomyces quisqualis is a naturally occurring hyperparasite that effectively controls powdery mildew. It penetrates the walls of hyphae, conidiophores, and immature cleistothecia, reducing the growth of mildew colonies.
- Within 7–10 days, the microparasite spreads inside mildew hyphae.
- Pycnidial formation starts after colonization and completes in 2–4 days.
- Infected cells die soon after the formation process begins.
Target Crops:
- Cucurbits, Grapes, Apple, Peas, Beans
- Tomato, Pulses, Cumin, Chilli, Coriander
