OVAL Insecticide – Acephate 75% SP

OVAL is a systemic insecticide formulated with Acephate 75% SP. It effectively controls sucking and chewing pests such as Jassids, Bollworms in cotton, and Aphids in safflower. When used as per recommended dosage, it is non-phytotoxic and safe for crops.

Mode of Action:

OVAL is absorbed by the plant and distributed systemically. It acts through direct contact and ingestion, affecting the pest's nervous system, leading to paralysis and death.

Recommended Usage & Dosage:

Antidote (In Case of Poisoning):

• Administer Atropine immediately: 2 to 4 mg every 5 to 10 minutes until symptoms subside.
• Follow with 2-PAM: Inject 1 to 2 mg dissolved in 10 ml of distilled water intravenously over 10–15 minutes.

Precautions:

• Wear protective gear (face mask, eye shield, gloves, and overalls) during handling.
• Wash hands, face, and other exposed areas thoroughly with soap and water after application.
• If contact with eyes occurs, rinse with plenty of clean water immediately.
• Keep product away from food items and animal feed.
