About Albizia odoratissima
Albizia odoratissima is a medium-sized tree growing up to 22 (and sometimes 40) meters tall, with a diameter ranging from 120 to 150 cm. It has a short trunk and a spreading, relatively dense crown with drooping foliage. The bark is dark grey to light brown with horizontal lenticels, and its branching habit is generally uniform, though irregularities can occur if the tree is damaged.

- Seed Collection and Storage: Pods are collected by lopping branches, sun-dried, and then seeds harvested.
Pretreatments
- Soak seeds in cold water for 24 hours to hasten germination.
- Nursery Technique: Sow treated seeds in polybags in April.
- Germination starts after 7 to 10 days and is profuse.
- Seedlings reach plantable size by July to August.
- Highest germination success achieved by immersion in hot water (80°C) for 10 minutes (82.07%) and hot water (100°C) for 1 minute (79.00%).
- Germination begins 4 to 6 days after sowing and completes within 22 to 25 days for all treatments.
