About Indian Almond (Tropical Almond) Seeds
Approximately 70% of ripe seeds germinate within about 20 days. These seeds remain viable for a long time and can germinate readily even after floating long distances in water.
This seed is ideal for growing trees and shrubs that enhance the beauty of gardens, landscapes, and commercial crops. The tree grows up to 50 feet or more with a spreading crown and dark foliage. Branches tend to droop. Leaves are pinnate, 8-10 inches long, with alternately arranged egg-shaped leaflets measuring 3-4 inches long and 2-2.5 inches wide. Orange-yellow flowers appear in racemes, with 1-2 flowers in each leaf axil.
