Agathi (Sesbania grandiflora) – Seeds
Agathi is a fast-growing, soft-wooded tree that reaches 3–8 m in height. Leaves are regular, deciduous, and abruptly pinnate, measuring 15–30 cm long with 10–20 leaflets. Depending on the species, the plant bears either red or white flowers in September–October. Flowers are long, boat-shaped, and appear in 2–4 flower racemes.
Fruit & Seeds
The fruit pods are slender and falcate, about 30 cm long, containing 15–30 seeds each.
