About PIXO HERBICIDE Pixo is an herbicide produced by Indofil Industries Limited. PIXO Herbicide is suitable for Pre-emergence to Post emergence application. It is environmentally friendly and not very harmful to mammals. PIXO Herbicide Technical Details Technical Name: Pyrithiobac Sodium 10% SC Mode of Action: Pixo is absorbed by the roots and shoots and translocated to growing points. Pixo inhibits the Enzyme Acetolactete Synthase (ALS) involved in amino acid synthesis. Amino acid synthesis is blocked and hence weed growth is arrested. Key Features & Benefits PIXO Herbicide is an effective weed control agent during early and late stages of crop. It has fast systemic and residual action up to 30 - 45 days. It has a broad-spectrum activity which is effective in controlling a wide range of weeds while being selective to cotton at any stage of crop growth. It has a triple action formula which eliminates growth of major weeds of cotton. It ensures good growth of cotton seedlings and reduces further spread of major weeds.
