Prime Insecticide – Acetamiprid 20% SP
Prime (Acetamiprid 20% SP) is a highly effective neonicotinoid insecticide formulated for the control of a wide range of sucking pests. It targets insect nervous systems by blocking nicotine acetylcholine receptors, leading to rapid pest knockdown within 30 minutes of application.
Mode of Action:
- Antagonizes neural receptors, disrupting brain signals in insects
- Causes excitation, followed by paralysis and eventual death
- Acts as an ovicidal, larvicidal, and adulticidal agent
- Primarily ingested but also has contact activity
- Translaminar movement – protects both upper and lower leaf surfaces
