Agronomy Guidelines
- Suitable Zones: All India
- Land Preparation: Select well-drained medium to heavy soil; apply FYM during ploughing.
- Seed Treatment: Treat with Carbendazim 2 g + Thiram 2 g per kg of seeds.
- Sowing Season: Summer, Rabi, Kharif (as per variety recommendation)
- Seed Rate: 100–120 g per acre
- Sowing Method: Nursery sowing; transplant seedlings after 21 days
- Spacing: 60 x 30 cm
Fertilizer Application
- Total Requirement: N:P:K = 80:100:120 kg/acre
- Basal Dose: 50% N and 100% P & K at final land prep
