About Ryusei Herbicide
- Technical Name: Quizalofop Ethyl 5% EC
- Mode of Action: Post-emergence herbicide for grassy weeds (systemic herbicide of the aryloxy phenoxy propionate group).
Key Information
Ryusei is recommended for Soybean, Groundnut, Onion, and Black gram crops to control a wide range of grassy weeds. It should be applied 20–25 days after sowing and provides long-lasting effectiveness by killing new germinated weeds. Weeds affected by Ryusei are unable to regenerate.
Features & USP
- Shows toxic symptoms in weeds within 5–8 days and completely kills them in 10–15 days.
- Quick absorption within 1–4 hours ensures rain after this period does not reduce efficacy.
- No resistance has been reported against Ryusei in soybean crops.
- Apply with recommended spray volume of 150–160 liters per acre. Using low water volume can lead to weed resistance.
