• Soil: Well-drained loamy soil is ideal
• Sowing Time: June–July & September–January
• Optimum Temperature for Germination: 20–26°C
• Spacing: 60 cm (row-to-row) x 30 cm (plant-to-plant)
• Seed Rate: 3–4 kg/acre

🚜 Field Preparation

1. Deep plough and harrow the field.
2. Incorporate 10–12 tonnes/acre of well-decomposed FYM.
3. Form ridges and furrows at required spacing.
4. Dibble seeds and irrigate lightly after sowing for better germination.
