Varsha Bio Insecticide
Varsha Bio Insecticide
Overview
Multiplex Varsha is a biological insecticide based on the beneficial fungus Verticillium lecanii. It provides effective control of various sucking pests while being safe for beneficial insects and the environment. Ideal for use at all crop stages, including pre-harvest.
Composition

- CFU Count: Min. 1 × 108 CFU/ml (Liquid) or CFU/g (Carrier-based)

Mode of Action
After application, the fungus infects the pest by penetrating the outer cuticle and growing inside the insect’s body. It eventually kills the insect by producing toxins like bassianolide and dipicolinic acid. Infected insects appear white to yellowish and typically die within 4–6 days.
