Well-drained sandy loam and clay loam soils are ideal for optimal growth and yield.

🛠️ Preparation of Main Field

1. Deep ploughing and harrowing to prepare the soil.
2. Apply 10 tonnes of well-decomposed FYM (Farmyard Manure) per acre and mix thoroughly with the soil.
3. Form ridges and furrows at recommended spacing.
4. Apply basal dose of fertilizers in the furrows and cover them with soil.
5. Irrigate the field one day before sowing.
6. Dibble one seed per hill and apply light irrigation for better germination and establishment.

• Basal Dose: 30:40:40 NPK kg/acre
• First Top Dressing (20–25 days after sowing): 20:00:40 NPK kg/acre
