Mode of Action
Rhizobium spp. infects the roots of legume plants, forming root nodules where it converts atmospheric nitrogen into ammonia. This ammonia is transformed into nitrogen-rich compounds that are readily available to the plant. The bacteria remain within these nodules, continuing the nitrogen fixation process and enhancing plant nutrition.
