MODE OF ACTION
Capstijiven effectively controls insect pests through multiple mechanisms. As an antifeedant, it inhibits pest feeding, causing insects to die from starvation. Its strong odor acts as an ovipositional deterrent, interfering with embryonic development and exhibiting ovicidal activity by preventing eggs from hatching. Furthermore, it functions as an insect growth regulator by disrupting hormonal balance, including ecdysteroid and juvenile hormone levels leads to molting defects and ultimately causes the premature death of pests.
DOSAGE
Mix 1 lit of Capstijiven in 200 Lits of water (5 ml/lit) and apply as foliar spray for one acre of land. Avoid spraying during the flowering stage of the crops.
